Grey Cooker – Reduction Linocut
This cooker image is one of my most popular linocuts, designed and printed when I was the artist resident at Craven Museum and Gallery on their Britannia printing press. This 9 colour reduction linocut looks back to our grandparents era when this was modern and one of their proudest possessions. Nostalgia senses the smell of scones baking and homemade pinnies. A gentle reminder of the past and how are homes used to be.
