Life and Movement Drawing at the Hepworth

Beautifully set amongst the Forest of Jumpers in the JW Anderson exhibition at the Hepworth Wakefield, this experimental drawing workshop proved to be an inspiration for the students from Wakefield College. Life drawing has historically been a core skill but with recent cuts in budget, it has been one of the first things to suffer from lack of funding. Luckily there is a drive from institutions like the British Museum and the Royal Academy to get people drawing and painting again, so it was with pleasure to work with The Hepworth to offer this opportunity to local schools and colleges. There is still a place for a full college or A level class on Monday 22nd May in the afternoon, please contact Natalie Druffield-Moore http://www.hepworthwakefield.org/about/contact-us/137/
